Nick; They're a brilliant learning aid for spatial awareness and manual dexterity, a great way to meditate too. I'm glad they helped your dad so much.

Holemaster; If you'd done that to me I would've mixed up your face.

Baino; Oh the jigsaw gnome... second cousin to the lost sock fairy. Always with that one piece missing!

Jenny; Happiest and proudest three year old in the world I'd say!!

It's not that I don't see the point in jigsaws so much as I just can't do them. EVER! I spend one afternoon a week in nursery and occasionally find myself at the jigsaw table. Now it's not like they have especially hard jigsaws in nursery, but good god, can I do them? Happily, I'm now over the humiliation of being shown how to do a jigsaw by a three year old.

I haven't the patience and for some reason, there's always that vital piece missing! I have a 3D jigsaw of a very complicated American colonial house, still in the box. You can have it next time you feel the urge!

No, I never saw the point of jigsaws, except that they can be very soothing when you've been stressed out by something. My dad did jigsaws non-stop when he was recovering from a stroke, I think they helped his brain to recover.
